Hatziri is the indigenous Nahuatl word for dewdrop. It symbolizes the drop of life and gentle yet essential nourishment. It invites renewal through the idea that even smallest things can have a profound impact. Hatziri lets us know that wellness does not have to come from dramatic change, but from intentional daily choices, like a cup of tea.

From a grandmother's kitchen to a decade of study.

Growing up traditional remedies were often part of everyday life. A great-grandmother, grandmother, and a mother. A lineage of women that relied on God's gift of nature whenever a doctor was out of reach. From té de canela for a cold or a limpia with albahaca for curar el susto, they preserved as much as possible in the rapidly modernizing world. These experiences planted a seed of wonder that sprouted into determination to revitalize a dwindling family practice.

This sprout grew into a decade-long commitment to education, leading to a doctorate in Integrative Medicine with a specialization in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. The goal was never the degree — it was to bridge traditional knowledge and modern science in a way that genuinely serves our community in order to thrive.

Expertise is not having every answer, it is maintaining insight and humility as both a teacher and a lifelong student.
